Glow physio provides online, customized exercise plans with videos so you are certain about your exercises and are making the best use of your time.
Glow physio offers ongoing access to your physiotherapist via text, phone, and email for any questions that pop up outside of sessions. That support continues even once you’ve finished your treatment plan, because that is the type of care you deserve.
No, Registered Physiotherapists are primary care providers and a referral is not required unless your Extended Health Plan requires it. We direct-bill most Extended Health Plan to make your life easier. If your Doctor has referred you for treatment, please bring any relevant test results and we will ensure your Doctor receives regular updates on your treatment with us.
Nothing at all! We have all the equipment and linens needed for your appointment.
If you have any doctor's referrals, imaging reports, or lists of medications, please have those available.
Your Physiotherapist has been double vaccinated against COVID-19 and will wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). They also ensure adequate time between clients for proper sanitation of all equipment. We would kindly ask you to wash your hands before your session, wear a mask. A window (where available) will be opened for proper ventilation during treatment.
Wearing comfortable clothing, including shorts, can be helpful.
Your Physiotherapist will need 5-10 minutes to set up/pack up prior to and after your appointment. This time is in addition to your allotted appointment time.
Glow Physio direct-bills most major Extended Health Care Plans, but it is important that you confirm your coverage with your Extended Health Care Plan prior to your appointment. The balance that is not covered by your plan is payable via credit card through Glow’s secure Jane booking site, or via e-transfer.
If you do not have extended health coverage, or Glow does not direct-bill your specific plan, all Physiotherapy treatment fees are paid by the client/patient via the secure Jane booking site or by e-transfer. Receipts will be provided to submit to your plan or to submit as part of your taxes.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We understand that circumstances are sometimes unavoidable, however, less than 24-hour cancellations and no-shows will be charged 100% of the treatment amount. Please be aware that insurance companies will not pay for this charge.
